Open Pit Mine Supervisor

Grange Resources Tasmania is seeking a dedicated Mine Controller to oversee our operations.
This role involves the planning, coordination, and supervision of activities within our open pit mining operations.
Work Schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off, rotating day/night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mine Oversight: Closely monitor operational activities, including the management of the mine star system and its components.
- Field Supervision: Conduct pit inspections, identify and control hazards, supervise drilling, loading, hauling, and ancillary operations, and provide training and coaching to mine operators.
- Support Supervision: Assist in mine planning, manage personnel issues, and conduct incident investigations.
Qualifications:
- Valid full manual driver's license.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role.
- Minimum of a Certificate IV in Metalliferous Mining.
- Strong operational knowledge and competence in mining.
- Basic experience in survey drilling and blasting.
- Proficient computer skills and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people management skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and commitment to continuous improvement.
