Job Overview


The Recruitment Hive is seeking an experienced Senior SAP ECC6 Basis Administrator to join our Digital and Technology Services Division. This part-time opportunity, up to 15 hours per week, will allow you to work closely with Corporate Systems and Finance Teams to deliver client-centred solutions.



About the Role


As a Senior SAP ECC6 Basis Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring, administering, and troubleshooting SAP basis systems. You will also install software, configure system landscapes, manage transports, and set up user management.



Your Responsibilities



  • Configure, administer, and troubleshoot SAP basis systems with a strong understanding of SAP systems and architecture;
  • Install software, particularly BW, with experience in downloading from SAP and installation;
  • Configure system landscapes, manage transports, and set up user management;
  • Experience as an SAP Basis Administrator, specifically with ECC, BW, CRM, SRM, and system administration;
  • Manage backups and recoveries of SAP systems;
  • Troubleshoot and perform performance tuning;
  • Ensure security through creating and managing user accounts, setting up authentication and authorizations, and auditing;
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues;
  • Improve system performance by adjusting hardware or software;
  • Implement disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime;
  • Plan, perform, and test system upgrades;
  • Develop documentation on processes and procedures.


Your Qualifications



  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in implementing and administering SAP (ECC6.0 or higher) solutions;
  • Ability to troubleshoot performance problems within SAP ECC6;
  • Experience resolving time-sensitive issues in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining relationships;
  • Expertise in installing SAP software modules and ensuring database security meets required standards;
  • Experience with SAP financial modules;
  • Ability to contribute to new process development, identify complex technical issues, and resolve them effectively.


Remuneration


The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.

This part-time opportunity is located in Canberra, ACT, Australia, with flexible working arrangements available.
