High-Level SAP Basis System Architect

At the Recruitment Hive, we're seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator/Developer to join our Digital and Technology Services Division. This part-time opportunity (up to 15 hours per week) is a 6-month contract with the possibility of a 6-month extension.

The role will work closely with Corporate Systems and Finance Teams to deliver client-centred solutions, collaborating with other SAP Developers, the Chief Finance Officer, and DCS Branch Head. You'll provide technical capability to create a more efficient and resilient instance of our SAP system (ECC6 on prem).

This exciting opportunity requires someone with:

  • Strong understanding of SAP systems and architecture
  • Experience in installing software, particularly BW
  • Configuration skills, including setting up system landscape, configuring transport systems, and managing user management
  • Familiarity with ECC, BW, CRM, and SRM as SAP Basis Administrators
  • System administration skills, including installing and configuring SAP software, maintaining databases, and system administration

You'll be responsible for troubleshooting performance problems within SAP ECC6, resolving time-sensitive issues in a fast-paced production environment, and contributing to the development of new processes. Your experience in installing SAP software modules and ensuring database security meets required standards is crucial.

To be suitable for this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years' experience in implementing and administering SAP (ECC6.0 or higher) solutions
  • Ability to troubleshoot performance problems within SAP ECC6
  • Ability to resolve time-sensitive issues in a fast-paced production environment
  • Experience in installing SAP software modules and ensuring database security meets required standards
  • Experience with SAP financial modules
