The Opportunity

ERM is seeking an experienced leader to join our global consulting firm as a Principal Consultant in Australia. As part of our continued growth and innovation in Air Quality services, this role offers a unique opportunity to become a true business leader in an organization with Sustainability at its heart.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the successful delivery of ERM Australia Pacific Air Quality projects and objectives by initiating and leading sales efforts, managing large, complex, multidisciplinary projects, and proposal writing and delivery.
  • Project management experience with accountability for managing project risk and delivering performance, client engagement activity with a local network, and recent business development successes.
  • Build effective working relationships within project teams, disciplines, and business needs, and meet business financial targets, overall project budget and schedule, client expectations, and internal and contract requirements.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7-10 years' relevant experience in a consulting environment, with tertiary qualifications (or higher) in engineering, science, meteorology, or chemistry, and understanding of regulatory requirements and relevant legislation.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, strong initiative, and high-level Excel skills, including data manipulation, flexibility to conduct a variety of assessments, and tackle complex problems using innovative solutions.
  • Proven ability to complete projects within budget and on schedule, and a genuine desire to work with a great team and to mentor and develop colleagues.
