**Air Quality Leadership Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our global consulting firm, ERM, as a Principal Consultant in Australia, driving the growth of our Air Quality service and fostering excellent client relationships.

This is a Principal Level opportunity for an Air Quality Consultant looking to further their career in a global environmental leader that aims to lead the field in sustainability consulting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support the successful delivery of ERM Australia Pacific Air Quality projects and objectives
  • Initiate and lead sales efforts, including managing large, complex, multidisciplinary projects, proposal writing and delivery
  • Project management experience with accountability for managing project risk and delivering performance
  • Client engagement activity with a local network and recent business development successes
  • Build effective working relationships within project team, discipline and business needs
  • Meet business financial targets, overall project budget and schedule, client expectations, and internal and contract requirements

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum of 7-10 years' relevant experience in a consulting environment
  • Tertiary qualifications (or higher) in engineering, science, meteorology or chemistry
  • Understanding of the regulatory requirements and relevant legislation
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Strong initiative with the ability to work independently where required
  • High level Excel skills including data manipulation
  • Flexibility to conduct a variety of assessment and tackle complex problems using innovative solutions
  • Project management experience with accountability for managing project risk and delivering performance
  • Client engagement activity with a local network and recent business development successes
  • Proven ability to complete projects within budget and on schedule
  • A genuine desire to work with a great team and to mentor and develop your colleagues
  • Experience in air quality dispersion modelling
