Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Commercial Lead to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to undertake pre-contracts, contract delivery, and project performance across a range of projects.

About the Role

The Project Commercial Lead will work closely with other commercial resources, as well as operations, bid, and delivery teams, to deliver sound and practical commercial advice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Reviews and Negotiations: Conduct thorough reviews and negotiations of contracts and other project documents to ensure optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Contract Administration: Monitor key contract risks and implement robust contract administration processes into our project management approach.
  • Collaboration with Legal Team: Work with our in-house legal team on contract reviews to inform sound commercial decisions on contractual risk.
  • Commercial Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving commercial issues and collaborate with our project performance team to maximize commercial outcomes on our projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree-level qualification(s)
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in project-based environments
  • Strong base of contract administration and/or contract legal experience
  • Ability to communicate complex contractual principles to project managers, proposal managers, and business leaders
  • Sound time management and organizational skills, confident prioritizing workload and managing competing deadlines
  • Positive attitude and flexibility towards undertaking a changing variety of tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in both small and large team environments
