The role of Medical Advisor supports expanded access to medicines and leads the implementation and operations of Patient Access mechanisms in areas of high patient unmet need.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the implementation and operations of patient access mechanism, including compassionate access requests
  • Foster high levels of cross-functional collaboration to enable timely decisions in a matrix organisation, across regions and multiple therapy areas
  • Drive execution, including tracking and reporting, of assigned Patient Access activities and mechanisms and manage and optimise related data and digital tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science or related field required, advanced degree in science or pharmacy preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in medical affairs in Pharmaceutical or healthcare Industry
  • Experience in patient access mechanisms in the Australian and New Zealand context, and prior program management experience preferred
  • Ability to understand and communicate scientific information
  • Strong Project Management skills
