Catherine House has provided inner-city services to support women out of homelessness since 1988.

We offer crisis, mental health, and longer-term supported accommodation, as well as outreach services through our Women's Centre or Education and Employment Program.

Position Overview

This position plays a vital role in supporting our strategic goals by ensuring the smooth processing of donations, accurate management of our donor database, and coordination of in-kind donations.

  • Process and receipt donations, fundraising income, and other revenues in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage and maintain the Raiser's Edge CRM database, ensuring data accuracy for fundraising campaigns, events, and donor relations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for donor development, including segmentation, targeted marketing, and evaluation of fundraising campaigns.
  • Coordinate in-kind donations, liaising with community supporters and volunteers.
  • Assist with the financial reconciliation of fundraising events, including pledges, invoicing, and donation receipts.
Required Skills

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A genuine interest in social justice and the not-for-profit sector.
  • Experience managing CRM databases, including Raiser's Edge, with a focus on segmentation and reporting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of online fundraising platforms and basic financial/accounting procedures.
  • Strong digital literacy skills, including proficiency in office software, HTML, and web-based systems such as WordPress.
