Role Overview

The role of Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator plays a pivotal part in enhancing the donor and stakeholder experience across charities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing concepts and content for marketing and fundraising campaigns, appeals, and supporter communications.

This position requires close collaboration with teams to foster client acquisition and fundraising growth across THRF Group charities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing multi-channel content for marketing and fundraising campaigns as part of donor and client acquisition journeys focused on fundraising and membership growth.
  • Understanding the supporter base, audiences, and campaign objectives to write copy for various appeals and campaigns, incorporating industry best practice and internal learnings to achieve objectives.
  • Producing digital engagement content for fundraising and marketing campaigns including blogs and news posts.
  • Interviewing patients and researchers, organizing photoshoots, and other activities to ensure fundraising appeals have maximum impact.
  • Incorporating test and learn methodology into appeal and campaign planning.
  • Implementing learnings on an ongoing basis to improve campaign outcomes.
  • Working with internal team members and external stakeholders to coordinate campaign-related tasks ensuring projects proceed according to deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute multi-channel content for marketing and fundraising campaigns.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in writing content for sales, direct marketing, or fundraising purposes.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing for social media and digital channels.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize work under pressure, and organize time effectively.
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive.
  • Strong interest in the health and not-for-profit sectors.
