This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall procurement functions within the organization. The primary responsibility of this role includes providing procurement project support, planning and managing procurement/supply chain operations, identifying and mitigating risks, assisting with category management, and performing other tasks as directed by Management.

  • Support JDE Data Administration and facilitate data validation during JDE Cut-Over;

  • Assist with item entry and set up item catalogues in JDE;

  • Collaborate with the Procurement Administrator on JDE projects;

  • Provide purchasing support to the organization as required;

  • Manage vendor catalogue updates and maintain accurate pricing information within JDE;

  • Contribute to Supplier Setup and onboarding processes as needed;

  • Support Procurement Specialists and the General Manager, Supply Chain with administrative tasks such as quotations, scheduling audits, and vendor meetings;

  • Maintain the share-point repository for Procurement;

  • Ensure timely issuance and receipting of supplier samples;

  • Foster high-quality relationships with internal stakeholders;

  • Promote adherence to socially responsible procurement practices;

  • Participate in maintaining procurement policies and procedures;

  • Guarantee compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards and legislation, ensuring a safe environment for employees, customers, contractors, and visitors, and promptly reporting any issues or near misses.
