Executive Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our project delivery team in Canberra. As a senior manager, you will be accountable for the management of complex multi-disciplinary projects and/or a portfolio of projects spanning consulting, systems, and product integration and software development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Definition, execution, and successful completion of projects within the portfolio.
  • Monitoring and reporting operational budgets, project profitability, staffing requirements, project resources, in-flight project change, and inter-project dependencies and project risk.
  • Promoting strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and actively managing client and sponsor expectations.
  • Leading multi-disciplinary project teams, including suppliers and subcontractors, holding them accountable for project performance and driving success.
  • Providing accurate project status and cost and revenue forecasts at project board reviews.
  • Contributing to the development and review of proposals and bids for clients and projects within the business area.
  • Demonstrating excellent influencing skills and fully managing difficult situations with clients, taking ownership of customer satisfaction.
Essential Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience.
  • Complex project management experience ideally within a professional services or software/technology-based industry.
  • Clear communication skills and comfort presenting in front of customers on a professional level.
  • Able to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintaining Australian government security clearance at minimum NV1, ideally higher.
  • Available to travel interstate when required.
