Industrial Electrical Project Lead

We're seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee industrial and hazardous area electrical projects from inception to completion.
About the Role- Lead full project lifecycle – tendering, design, procurement, delivery, and handover.
- Prepare bids, quotations, and project offers in collaboration with sales and design teams.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, risk, and compliance while reporting on profitability.
- Coordinate electrical designs, quality checking, and provide technical support.
- Oversee site labour management, subcontractors, and contractors for timely delivery and high standards.
- Evaluate safety processes, including risk assessments and SWMS.
- Utilize job management software, such as Simpro and Microsoft Office.
- Submit monthly progress claims and variation quotations.
- Proven experience managing hazardous area projects, including dossier management, rectification, design/selection, and installation.
- Strong knowledge of LV switchboards, distribution boards, panel boards, control panels, and MCCs.
- Familiarity with AS61439 Switchboard design and working knowledge of AS/NZS3000, AS/NZS61439, AS:60079.
- Electrical trade background preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in electrical project management roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective liaison with clients, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
