About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Boarding Supervisor to join our team at Broome Residential College, Department of Education, Western Australia. As a Boarding Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for secondary students, promoting their academic, social, emotional, and physical development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and reinforce appropriate values and behaviors of students, and supervise students, fulfilling duty of care requirements in line with Department policy.
  • Respect and embrace diversity within the student population, and provide and supervise opportunities which support the academic, social, emotional and physical development of students.
  • Maintain regular communication with colleagues, parents, school staff and others involved in supporting student development and wellbeing and attending college functions and promotion activities as required by the College Manager.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with students and parents, including those with diverse multicultural backgrounds.

You will also need to be able to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team, and have the capacity to initiate, plan, document and safely lead a wide range of leisure activities for secondary students.
