About the Role

The Child Safety Lead Practitioner plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality child safety services. This position drives the development of practice capability within specific service delivery contexts, promoting evidence-based initiatives that enhance outcomes for children and families.

Working closely with regional service delivery managers, the Lead Practitioner fosters collaboration and ensures the localised implementation of practice improvement initiatives that align with best-practice standards.

This position is responsible for driving and supporting change, continuous learning, and service enhancement to improve regional settings.

The Lead Practitioner contributes to the development, implementation, and evaluation of professional practice frameworks, policy, governance, and practice review processes within regional service delivery contexts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and enhancing practice capability within specific service delivery contexts
  • Collaborating with regional service delivery managers to implement evidence-based initiatives
  • Driving change, continuous learning, and service enhancement
Requirements
  • Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
  • Approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or eligible for membership with the relevant professional association
