About the Role:

We are seeking Support Professionals to join our team in the North Lakes area. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily needs and promoting their independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, toileting, dressing, and medication administration
  • Provide support with domestic duties including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Accompany individuals on community outings and engage them in social and recreational activities
  • Use hoists and slide sheets to transfer individuals safely and assist with mobility

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and a willingness to learn and develop your skills. You will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • A Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card)
  • Commitment to infection prevention and control measures including the use of PPE as directed
  • A Driver's License and access to reliable vehicle
  • A smartphone with an iOS 13.0 and up operating system or an Android 6.0 and up operating system
