We are seeking experienced and safety-focused individuals for ongoing opportunities operating Rear Lift, Hook Lift, or Front Lift trucks.

Job Opportunity:

This role involves operating vehicles for scheduled commercial waste collections, ensuring vehicle maintenance to safety standards, and following route schedules efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate vehicles for waste collection
  • Complete pre-start checks and ensure vehicle maintenance to safety standards
  • Follow route schedules efficiently and report any delays or issues
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch and site supervisors
  • Adhere to all site safety protocols, including PPE and hazard identification

Requirements:

  • Valid truck licence
  • Minimum 6-12 months driving experience (waste industry experience highly regarded)
  • Strong reliability and commitment to early morning starts
  • Physically fit with the ability to safely enter and exit the vehicle repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Driving history report required
