Job Overview

The Information Security Operations Analyst plays a vital role in monitoring and executing processes to detect and respond to information security incidents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and executing operational security processes to respond to incidents in line with organizational policies and standards.
  • Monitoring the environment to identify security events or changes to the security risk profile.
  • Working with Managed Security Services Providers to support 24/7 security monitoring.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in monitoring and identifying security risks and threats.
  • An understanding of common adversarial techniques and procedures based on frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
  • General awareness of common security tooling like SIEM and EDR.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to represent the SecOps team and communicate risks to stakeholders.
