Job Overview

This is a full-time position in our Security Operations Center (SOC) where you will play a critical role in safeguarding clients' digital assets and ensuring the integrity of their cybersecurity infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor network traffic and system logs to identify security incidents and anomalies, then initiate response protocols to mitigate potential threats.
  • Investigate security alerts and incidents, assessing their impact and scope, and provide detailed analysis reports for team review.
  • Collaborate with other members of the SOC team to analyse and respond to security threats in a timely manner, leveraging collective knowledge to inform incident response strategies.
  • Fine-tune and configure security tools to optimise threat detection and incident response capabilities, staying up-to-date with emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to SOC processes and configurations, ensuring seamless handovers and knowledge transfers between team members.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in Security Operations Centers, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive informed decision-making.

  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including log analysis and incident response platforms.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with relevant certifications and training.
