Lead Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical engineering projects from concept through to delivery. This role involves technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering high-quality electrical engineering solutions across critical infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deliver electrical switchboards, switchrooms, and outdoor enclosure solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership across engineering design, drafting, and manufacturing processes.
  • Oversee and review electrical drawings, schematics, and single line diagrams (SLDs).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, electrical codes, and client specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, manufacturing teams, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in switchboard, switchroom, or enclosure design and/or manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of LV/MV electrical systems, protection schemes, and distribution equipment.
  • Proven ability to lead engineering projects from concept through to delivery.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
