Job Title: HVAC Design Engineer

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC design and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.

  • Lead and deliver HVAC/mechanical design solutions across a diverse range of projects.
  • Develop detailed designs, schematics, and documentation using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Camel.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and drafters.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and project specifications.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 5+ years' experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the building services industry.
  • Experience working on projects up to $20m mechanical value across sectors such as commercial, healthcare, or infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with design software including AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Camel.
  • Chartered status or NER registration (highly regarded but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and clients.
