About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Care Manager to join our team in Leeds. As a Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our branch, providing strong management and leadership to all staff, while maintaining CQC standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-Day Operations: Ensure all CQC regulations are met for safe and effective home care services to clients.
- Client Safety and Safeguarding: Be responsible for client safety and commitment to safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
- Reporting and Compliance: Provide any and all reports on the business as required, and manage all DBS checks, Right To Work checks, and regulatory compliance for all staff.
- Care Levels and Client Expectations: Ensure the care levels provided meet the clients' expectations and needs, and liaise with clients continuously.
- Staff Management: Manage all staff, including staff appraisals, regular supervisory meetings, and spot checks.
- Training and Development: Ensure all training is monitored in line with regulations.
- Budgets and Finance: Manage budgets, finance, and business development.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Recruit and onboard new staff.
- CQC Preparation and Inspections: Ensure all CQC preparation and inspections are performed to the best standards.
- Emergency On-Call Issues: Deal with emergency on-call issues, such as covering calls directly in extreme circumstances or securing and allocating new staff when carers are absent or ill.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and Experience: A candidate who possesses the knowledge to hit the ground running in the business with the Franchise Owner immediately.
- Registered Manager Experience: Experience of working as a Registered Manager in a Domiciliary Care environment.
- Compassionate and Caring: Compassionate and caring with a supportive and empathetic nature.
- Professional and Reliable: Professional with excellent time management and reliability skills, and also the ability to be flexible with work schedule.
- Risk Assessments and Safeguarding: Experience in risk assessments for care services and individual care and support, knowledge of confidentiality, health and safety, and abuse matters and safeguarding procedures.
- Administrative and Computer Skills: Excellent administrative and computer literacy skills, as well as strategy and implementation skills.
- Staff Management: Experience in staff management - recruiting, training, supporting, and supervising.
- CQC Preparation and Inspections: Experience of CQC preparation and inspections.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Previously maintained clear and accurate records and followed statutory reporting and procedures to CQC Standards.
- Regulatory Responsibilities: Good understanding of regulatory responsibilities of a Registered Manager and all Domiciliary Care law.
- Qualifications: NVQ 5 Social Care Qualifications and Train the Trainer minimum.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience, as well as a pension and performance bonus. You will also receive 28 days holidays per year, including bank holidays.
