We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Audio and Communications Specialist
This is a unique opportunity to join our team in Melbourne, working in a cutting-edge environment with advanced technical facilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Audio and Communications systems, ensuring 100% uptime for all events and projects. This includes planning, setup, and testing of systems, as well as day-to-day connectivity and quality assurance for Outside Broadcast and Studio productions.
- Daily work with a small team of engineers, with access to the resources of a large international broadcast company.
- Maintenance of audio and communications systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Planning, setup, and testing of systems for events and projects.
- Day-to-day connectivity and quality assurance for Outside Broadcast and Studio productions.
- Technical or associate degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of RTS communications systems, with ability to configure and operate them.
- Familiarity with Riedel communications systems is a plus.
- Understanding of audio console connectivity, configuration, and operations, with particular focus on LAWO and Calrec.
- Knowledge of IP audio transmission standards, their practical use and conversion between standards.
- Prior experience in the broadcast industry, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
