Electoral Officer Role

This role is critical to the Victorian community, demanding exceptional trust and integrity. Confidentiality is paramount when interacting with constituents and visitors. The position entails daily interactions with stakeholders and key responsibilities include:

General Administration

  • Office management

Constituent Services

  • Supporting constituents

Media and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Communicating with media outlets

The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, organisational ability, sound written and oral communication skills, excellent computer skills, commitment to client service, strong knowledge of government and parliamentary processes, and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

In this challenging environment, you will provide advice and maintain confidentiality, while maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets. You will also evaluate work procedures and implement change, and display behaviours consistent with Electoral Officer values and Code of Conduct.

This opportunity allows you to contribute to the Victorian community and work closely with local representatives.
