Import Officer Role

About Us:

We are a fast-growing international freight forwarding company with a strong presence in Australia and internationally. We have custom bonded warehouses and multiple offices across Australia, as well as a footprint in New Zealand, China, Singapore, and the USA.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Import Operations professional to join our Imports team in Brisbane on a full-time basis. Your role will be working in our expanding e-commerce sector where you'll be given coaching in industry-leading IT software.

The Job:

  1. Manage import documentation, including customs and quarantine paperwork.
  2. Communicate with clients to organize efficient and on-time freight transportation.
  3. Handle client enquiries and customer feedback/complaints.
  4. Lodge Air/Sea cargo automation.
  5. Coordinate with clients and internal staff.
  6. Arrange cargo delivery.
  7. Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
  8. Follow procedures and communicate effectively.

Requirements:

  1. Imports operations experience.
  2. Good customer service skills.
  3. Strong attention to detail and good time management.
  4. Accurate data entry skills.
  5. Excellent communication skills.
  6. Good organizational skills.
  7. Demonstrated proficiency in computer usage.
