Business Development Manager

Transport Engineering Solutions is a leading supplier of OEM truck and trailer solutions in Australia. We are unique in the market, delivering a complete range of products from world-class brands in core transport categories.

We seek an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth across WA from our Perth-based branch. You will work closely with national sales & operations teams to develop and implement targeted growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive margin & revenue growth.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through strategic cold calling and networking.
  • Understand clients' specific needs and challenges, offering tailored solutions that align with industry-leading products.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals with support from internal head office teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customised solutions for clients.
  • Provide regular sales performance updates and market feedback to national leadership.
  • Inspire, coach and develop direct reports.
  • Oversee inventory and logistics to ensure the WA branch runs smoothly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in business-to-business sales position.
  • Transport hydraulics background is essential.
  • Proactive business development mindset with ability to prospect and cold call.
  • Hands-on approach with sharp problem-solving skills.
  • Positive, can-do attitude that brings energy to the team.
  • Strong communication skills and eye for detail.
  • Good leadership and team development skills.
  • Current driver's licence.
