About the Role

This Junior System Operation Specialist position will be based in our Sydney office in Macquarie Park and support our Logistics, Planning & Systems team.

  1. Vehicle Sales Process Support: Advise on best practices for utilizing the BYD technology stack to optimize processes and drive value.
  2. Business Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, facilitating discussions to align on solutions.
  3. System Analysis and Improvement: Analyze current systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the implementation of logistics technologies.
  4. Documentation and Training: Assist senior system specialists in creating and maintaining documentation, including mapping current systems and processes, defining functional and non-functional requirements, developing user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and designing screen mock-ups and test plans.
  5. IT Support: Collaborate with the IT team to diagnose issues and deliver effective solutions to customers, troubleshooting technical problems and escalating complex issues when necessary.
  6. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders and external dealers on new and existing systems, ensuring proper documentation and procedure updates.
  7. Logistics Module Understanding: Gain a strong understanding of logistics modules, including forecasting, planning, order handling, shipping, warehouse management, and financial support.
  8. Quality Standards and Risk Management: Establish and maintain quality standards and risk management guidelines for logistics technology systems.
