Seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an apprentice carpenter.

We are a small, dynamic construction company based in Adelaide that specializes in residential timber farming. Our services include renovations, extensions, new builds, cladding, decks, and pergolas.

About the Role

We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. As an apprentice carpenter, you will be working alongside experienced tradespeople to construct and install various types of carpentry projects.

  • Assist experienced carpenters in the construction and installation of carpentry jobs including renovations, extensions, new builds, cladding, decks, and pergolas.
  • Develop proficiency in the use of power tools and hand tools to ensure accurate and efficient work.
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic mathematical skills for measurement and calculations.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • A strong work ethic and reliability.
  • The ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
Preferred Attributes

While not essential, it would be beneficial if you have:

  • An OHS white card.
  • Experience in carpentry or general building/laboring.
  • Completion of a Certificate II in Carpentry (or equivalent).
Working Conditions

This role involves working on-site, often at heights, and requires a high level of physical fitness.

Remuneration: $14.00 - $21.00 per hour

Hours: 38 hours per week

Schedule: 8-hour shift
