About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Turf Contract Manager to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of turf and garden management, quality control, staff development, and compliance throughout our facilities.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in turf management, with demonstrated experience in leading staff, managing deadlines, and providing high-quality results to clients. You will be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, through all communication channels, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Turf Management and Maintenance Contracts
  • Ensure ongoing improvement to client grounds and gardens is identified and carried out
  • Prepare quotes for clients within agreed time frames
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of turf maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of contracts
  • Supervise and provide guidance to turf & horticultural maintenance staff
  • Provide training opportunities for Site Managers and Team Leaders to develop in their role
  • Support Contract Managers and Site Managers and team leaders with the preparation of reports for sites as required
  • Ensure all employees in their teams are inducted and receive ongoing on-the-job training
  • Relationship Building and Customer Relationship Management
Requirements
  • A qualification in either Horticulture or Sports Turf Management is essential
  • Proven experience in turf management or a related role
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • A positive attitude towards working safely and a commitment to upholding our company's health and safety culture
  • Full driver's licence
