About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist or Psychologist to join our team at Calvary Care. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based treatments to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions.
  • Group Therapy Programs: Develop and deliver group therapy programs and therapeutic interventions for clients in our hospital.
  • Consultation and Liaison: Consult and liaise with other health professionals and external agencies to ensure ongoing support for patients during their recovery.
  • Administrative Duties: Undertake administrative duties including preparation of reports, maintenance of records, and provision of regular statistical information as required.
  • Staff Training and Development: Participate in staff training opportunities and provide in-service training to other staff as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Psychology.
  • Professional Registration: Professional registration with AHPRA to practice as a Psychologist.
  • Clinical Experience: Appropriate clinical experience, including demonstrated skills in assessment, treatment, therapeutic intervention, group work, case management, and case work.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt.
