Care Companion Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Care Companion Specialist to join our care team at our residential aged care home.
The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering communities of belonging and providing personalized support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide daily personal care and assistance to residents, promoting independence and dignity
- Attend to meal delivery and refreshments as required
- Record observations and document any exceptions to the care plan in progress notes
- Check residents' daily menu requirements
- Carry out allocated duties and tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse or senior clinical team member
- Hold a current National Police Certificate (or be able to obtain one)
- Have an NDIS check (or be able to obtain one)
- Hold a relevant Certificate III qualification
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
