About the Role
Pacific National is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Delivery Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our services, managing schedules, and monitoring performance to meet safety and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement schedules to meet operational demands and minimize disruptions to service delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate important information about train plans and ensure effective communication.
- Hold network providers accountable for operational plans and ensure all required systems are maintained for accurate information, communication, and reporting.
- Monitor the delivery of cargos and cargo assembly in accordance with customer requirements and stakeholder expectations.
- Pursue opportunities to prevent cancellations, replace lost services, and add additional services during the day of operations.
- Manage the deployment of crews to meet operational demands at locations as required.
Lifestyle Roster
This position will work on our Lifestyle Roster, which involves a pattern of days and nights, with a block of days off at the end of each swing. Shifts are 12 hours, including handover, and you will benefit from additional shift allowances.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a recognized team player with the ability to operate in a fast-paced shift work environment. In addition:
- You must be able to do shift work, as Pacific National operates 24/7.
- Previous logistics experience is preferred.
- You will be an effective member of a team, able to build relationships for results.
- You will be able to effectively use operational systems and analyze data to optimize business efficiency.
- You will be a critical thinker, enabling quick and efficient solutions during the day of operations plan.
- You will have strong time management skills to enable the effective management of deployment and resource allocation.
- You will have the capacity to understand relevant Enterprise Agreements, people issues, and how they impact the business.
- You will have high-level skills in providing clear and succinct information, verbally and written.
- You will have intermediate computer skills.
- You will be able to reach agreements and consensus despite differing goals and priorities.
- You will be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
