Operational Excellence Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our banking operational activities across the APAC region. Reporting into the Global Head of Operations, you will be responsible for managing settlements and reconciliations, as well as collaborating with other members of the Leadership and Senior Leadership Team to drive outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of payments operations experience, with 4+ years of direct team management experience. A background in banking and financial services is essential, with experience in the Operations and Treasury space preferred.

As a leader, you will support and coach team leads on operational matters to drive improvement and ensure exceptional service delivery. You will also be accountable for delivering agreed service level standards and key performance measures for the team.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess strong influencing and relationship-building skills, with the ability to train, maintain, and develop your team. Business, finance, or general management qualifications are also desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage settlements and reconciliations across the APAC region.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership and Senior Leadership Team to drive business outcomes.
  • Support and coach team leads on operational matters.
  • Develop and implement process improvements.
  • Optimize team performance through objective setting, monitoring, coaching, and development.
