About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Career Coach to join our team in Parramatta. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting Australian Apprentices and Employers to improve retention rates.

As a Career Coach, you will engage with employers and apprentices, providing guidance and support to address challenges and enhance the apprenticeship relationship. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goal of making skills, education, and employment accessible to every person.

The successful candidate will have formal studies in coaching or mentoring, and/or relevant qualifications in social sciences, behavioral sciences, youth work, or community development and services. Proven experience in leading, motivating, and communicating with diverse groups and individuals is essential.

A salary package of circa $65k + super is on offer, along with flexible and hybrid work arrangements. We also provide opportunities for career progression, training, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with employers and apprentices to address challenges and enhance the apprenticeship relationship
  • Provide guidance and support to help improve retention rates
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services

Requirements:

  • Formal studies in coaching or mentoring, or relevant qualifications in social sciences, behavioral sciences, youth work, or community development and services
  • Proven experience in leading, motivating, and communicating with diverse groups and individuals
  • Absence of existing suitable qualifications; willingness to undertake a Diploma of Counselling or similar within the first year of employment
