About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Specialist to join our team at Techtronic Industries in Carole Park, QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively diagnosing and repairing returned products in accordance with the company manufacturer's warranty and ACCC regulations to support best in class customer experience.

As a Technical Product Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with market leading brands and develop your technical/mechanical skills. You will be reporting to the Workshop Team Leader and will be responsible for:

  • Dismantling and reassembling product to make a diagnosis.
  • Delivering quality repairs within a timely manner
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in power tool products and equipment.
  • Continuously improving the warranty and service processes looking for ways to streamline where possible.
  • Ensuring product is working according to specifications outlined by the manufacturer.
  • Providing support and feedback to service operations, compliance, and quality departments.
  • Performing ad-hoc duties as requested by management.
  • Ensuring compliance with all TTI WHS and company procedures.

What You Will Bring:

  • A strong technical/mechanical aptitude and keen interest in repairing electrical products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work to set KPI's and self-manage time.
  • Excellent personal presentation and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and computer skills.
