About Our Team Leader Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Team Leader. In this role, you will play a key part in facilitating training and professional development for health professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a Service Plan to ensure that services meet current and future demands.
  • Providing expert guidance on gendered violence, risk assessments, and service responses.
  • Delivering high-level advice to enhance service responsiveness and implement policy or system changes related to Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) and child protection.
  • Supporting senior leadership with strategic planning and leading the development of policies and procedures to improve safety for victims and survivors.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in relation to liaison, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Able to provide clear leadership and lead staff discussion concerning philosophical, moral, and ethical work issues.
  • Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team environment and demonstrate personal initiative and judgement.
  • Ability to develop and implement clinical standards, policies, procedures, and systems.
