Job Title: Business Development Professional

About the Role: An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and sales-driven Business Development Professional to join our team in a dynamic role. This position is all about managing business relationships, driving sales results in our Domestic sales channel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing portfolio of dealers, domestic customers, and trade accounts by maintaining strong long-term relationships that are mutually beneficial.
  • Analyse market activity and trends to develop sales plans that target opportunities for sales growth in the region.
  • Provide dealers with up-to-date product information and marketing promotions to maximise sales.
  • Manage individual sales budgets to meet sales targets.
  • Develop and deliver project tenders that reflect both customer requirements and optimum product positioning.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments to ensure all dealer queries are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.

About You: To be successful in this role, it would be desirable to have:

  • A proven track record in sales and managing large accounts.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High levels of influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • The ability to develop solid knowledge of the customer base, in-store sales, customer capabilities, target markets, and the dynamics of each customer.
  • Firm understanding of market dynamics and competitors.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Trade qualification in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration and/or tertiary business-related qualifications will be highly regarded.
