Job Title

As a Refrigeration Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities management services. Your primary responsibility will be to visit various stores and perform troubleshooting, identifying issues and servicing equipment.

Delivering preventative and corrective maintenance works in accordance with planned schedules is crucial to this role. You will also be responsible for completing associated paperwork and reporting, as well as monitoring replacement spare part inventory and recommending capital works to reduce operational costs.

Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role. You will work closely with our facilities management, support, and technical teams, store teams, and call support centre team.

  • Trade qualifications in Refrigeration are required.
  • A qualified Supervisor Certificate (Refrigeration, Air Conditioning); or Endorsed Contractor Licence (Refrigeration, Air Conditioning), Arctick Refrigerant Handling Licence, and Driver's Licence are necessary.
  • Solid post-apprenticeship experience within the commercial refrigeration service and installation industry is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, travel to various sites, and be on call as required is expected.
  • A good level of computer literacy is essential.
  • Understanding of C02 systems and Emerson & RDM controls is advantageous.
