About the Role:
The Payroll Officer will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee data, including salaries, benefits, and leave entitlements.">
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including Australian taxation laws and superannuation requirements.">
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, responding promptly to queries and concerns.">
- Collaborate with the HR team to resolve payroll-related issues and implement process improvements.">
- Analyse and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and integrity.">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:

- Strong computer skills and experience with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel spreadsheets.">
- Knowledge and understanding of Australian salary, superannuation, taxation, salary sacrifice, and salary packaging.">
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to plan, set priorities, and meet deadlines with flexibility.">
- Proven attention to detail and ability to solve problems using good judgement.">
- Previous experience working within a large Human Resource and Payroll operating system.">
- Strong financial literacy, with the ability to interpret and analyse payroll data.">
- Demonstrated ability to apply and interpret Enterprise Agreements (EA) and legislation in conjunction with payroll and financial processes.">
- Well-developed oral, interpersonal, and written skills, with a focus on quality customer service.">
