Strategic Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to support the Vice-Chancellor and Chief of Staff in driving the strategic direction of the University.

The Office of the Vice-Chancellor and President provides leadership, oversight and advice on governance, planning, communication and stakeholder engagement. As the Strategic Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the effective operation and influence of the Office.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate strategic projects, governance reporting, and executive communications
  • Manage operational functions and support divisional strategies
  • Develop and deliver strategic communications engaging diverse audiences with clarity and impact

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualifications with extensive executive or management experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver strategic communications, engage diverse audiences with clarity and impact
  • Highly developed written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prepare reports, proposals and briefings for executive and governance audiences
