Job Description

As a Relieving Tenure Officer at the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of mineral tenements in Western Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing the role of Tenure Officer in Head Office and Mining Registrar in outstation offices, or Perth-based Mining Registrar positions, as required. This includes dealing with applications for mining tenements, applications under the Mining Act 1978, and other acts relating to mineral tenure.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and registering mining tenements
  • Maintaining tenement information databases
  • Providing responses to mining industry enquiries on matters relating to mining tenure registration functions

When working in Head Office, you will have access to flexible work arrangements, including working from home.
