Technical Architect

The Technical Architect is responsible for assisting with the design and implementation of Pega applications, including level 3 troubleshooting of applications, focusing on technical implementation and ensuring solutions meet business requirements.

  • Assist with the design and implementation of Pega applications according to specifications
  • Level 3 technical support of Pega built applications and implement fixes
  • Modify workflows, data models, and user interfaces
  • Design and execute test cases to validate functionality
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
  • Document technical designs and implementation approaches
  • Work closely with Business Architects to understand requirements
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to address technical issues
Eligibility Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A deep understanding of Agile environments
  • Experience working with case management and decision management tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • The ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Testing and debugging skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate openly and effectively and to build strong professional relationships with staff, stakeholders, and clients at all levels and across boundaries
  • Clear written and oral communication skills
  • A current Baseline Security Clearance through AGSVA – Must be an Australian Citizen
  • A Bachelor's degree in Programming, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Background in software development or technical implementation
  • Experience working with multiple Pega projects or implementations
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience working in the government/public sector
  • Understanding of the Commission's role as an end-to-end regulator
