Job Title: English Language Program Team Leader Support

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an English Language Program Team Leader Support.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the English Language Program Team Leader to provide support and coverage as needed.
  • Key responsibilities include implementing intake processes, language assessment, and class allocation processes.
  • Referring prospective students to approved external service providers.
  • Building relationships with volunteers and qualified ESL teachers to provide additional resources and information.
  • Supporting the Line Manager in facilitating regular meetings with the teaching team.
  • Collaborating with the Line Manager to collect and record student and facilitator feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Escalating internal referrals to the Line Manager when students require support beyond their language needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working with diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff and volunteers.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience in the Education sector, with a strong understanding of adult and second-language learner needs.
