Job Title: English Language Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated English language specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering effective teaching programs for newly arrived students from non-English speaking backgrounds, with a focus on enhancing their language skills and facilitating their transition into mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and differentiated teaching programs that cater to the diverse needs of EAL/D students.
  • Assess and report on student progress, providing actionable feedback to inform future instruction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement comprehensive English language programs that drive student learning and achievement.

Requirements:

  • Approved to teach Years 7-12 English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D).
  • Proven experience in teaching EAL/D students, with a demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective teaching programs.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum design and implementation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
