
Inventory Control Specialist

The Procurement Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of customer orders from sales to site, overseeing inventory management and maintaining stock levels in line with policy. This includes leading a team to deliver logistics and ensure timely delivery, both locally and internationally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Purchase Order Procedures (POPs), reporting non-conformances, and escalating contract breaches as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:- Manage inventory levels and ensure alignment with company policy
- Lead a team to deliver logistics and ensure timely delivery
- Develop and implement SOPs and POPs for continual improvement
- Report and manage non-conformances
- Escalate contract breaches as necessary
- Tertiary qualifications in Procurement or Logistics Management
- Proven track record in fast-paced environments managing small teams
- Strong ERP system knowledge and ability to learn and manage system usage
- Hands-on experience developing and implementing SOPs and POPs
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
