We are currently recruiting for an experienced Inventory Controller to join our fantastic client based on the South side of Brisbane for a Fixed-Term Role lasting 3 months.

Our client is a leading Retail Supplier specialising in transport. This is for a day shift position, Mondays to Friday, with great perks and great team environment.

**Tasks will include**:

- Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
- Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
- Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximise efficiency and cut operations costs
- Track rates of accuracy, purchase and return as well as defective items to inform quality control decisions
- Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports
- Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding inventory escalations, investigations, and discrepancies
- Be the key point of contact for resolving inventory related queries

**Skills and experience**:

- Inventory Control Experience, minimum 1+ years
- Ability to problem solve under pressure
- High attention to to detail
- Clear written & oral communication
