Financial Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team in Melbourne, VIC.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and reconciling trust accounts in line with law firm accounting rules and compliance obligations. They will also use MYOB to maintain accurate records and generate reports.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing trust accounts and ensuring timely settlements of accounts
- Preparing and issuing invoices in a prompt manner
- Maintaining accurate financial records and generating reports as required
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, and have strong knowledge of tax preparation and compliance with financial regulations.
In addition, the successful candidate will possess:
- Mandatory experience in law firm trust account management
- Proficiency in MYOB for trust accounting and general accounting functions
- Solid financial management skills including record-keeping, budgeting, and financial analysis
