Job Description

We are seeking a Ramp Agent to join our team at Sydney Airport.

As a Ramp Agent, you will be responsible for loading and unloading passenger baggage from aircraft safely and efficiently.

You will also maintain a safe and secure working environment at all times, transporting and loading freight on and off aircraft, handling Dangerous Goods according to regulations, and safely operating Ground Services Equipment.

In addition, you will perform receipt and dispatch of aircraft via headset communication with the pilot, aiding aircraft pushback and repositioning movements on live taxiway systems, and complying with open, fair, and honest reporting culture.

Requirements
  • Must be reliable and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 32kg.
  • Fluent spoken and written English with excellent communication skills.
  • Well-presented.
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
  • Current Open Driver's License.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
  • Motivation and flexibility to work on a 7-day rotational shift roster.
