As a risk management professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our organization. This includes overseeing the development and implementation of an organization-wide risk framework, providing guidance on compliance matters and collaborating with senior leadership to design and manage a layered approach to risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Assessment: Designing and implementing a comprehensive risk assessment program to inform prioritization of work for the risk management team, ensuring timely completion and adherence to internal procedures.
  • Task Management: Managing recurring procedurally defined risk management tasks, including chairing and coordinating the risk oversight committee structure for each entity to foster effective collaboration and decision-making.
  • Internal Controls: Conducting internal control reviews to test high-risk processes for adherence to internal procedures and compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Compliance Support: Supporting the director of information technology with the management of the company's information security program, including vendor risk assessments, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Compliance Calendar: Overseeing compliance calendar management and testing using compliance management tools to track and execute required tests and certifications.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with compliance officers within the business units to support compliance program management, including risk assessments, regulatory updates, and compliance testing procedures.
  • Audit Functions: Coordinating internal and external audit functions, including scheduling and managing internal audits, AML/BSA audits, and preparing for regulatory examinations.

The ideal candidate will possess a college degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, with 5+ years of experience in risk management and a proven track record of success. Additionally, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as strong leadership and organizational skills.
