A 1-2 year post-qualified experience (PQE) lawyer with a passion for family law is sought to join our team.
About the Role- Handle Family Law files with minimal supervision;
- Provide timely and practical legal advice to clients;
- Liaise with clients, third parties and Counsel;
- Conduct legal research;
- Preparing financial disclosure, Court documents including initiating Applicants and Affidavits;
- Briefing Counsel;
- Attending Court and Conciliations; and
- Attending and conducting client meetings.
- Desire to specialise in Family Law;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Maturity and confidence in dealing with all stakeholders associated with running a family law matter;
- Ability to work autonomously and handle your own matters;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships;
- Provide a high-quality client service;
- Be able to work in a team environment; and
- Effective time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
