The opportunity
We have an opportunity for a 1st or 2nd year PQE Lawyer to join our Family Law Team in our head office in Campbelltown. We are looking for an applicant who has a keen interest in this area of law and aspires to a long-term career, with opportunities for progression, within our growing Family Law practice.

Skills and experience we would love

We expect that the successful applicant would:

· have a desire to specialise in Family Law;

· possess excellent written and verbal communication skills;

· maturity and confidence in dealing with all stakeholder associated with running a family law matter;

· Ability to work autonomously and handle your own matters;

· have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships;

· provide a high-quality client service;

· be able to work in a team environment; and

· have effective time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

· Handling Family Law files with minimal supervision;

· Provide timely and practical legal advice to clients;

· Liaise with clients, third parties and Counsel;

· Conduct legal research;

· Preparing financial disclosure, Court documents including initiating Applicants and Affidavits;

· Attending Court and Conciliations; and

· Attending and conducting client meetings.
